Payzippy – New Online Payment Gateway by Flipkart



payzippyHello Friends Flipkart has revieled a new payment system called payzippy.Launch of payment gateway by flipkart has been talked for sometime now and now it is being finally unveiled.Payzippy is housed under a seperate firm called Flipkart Payment Gateway Services (FPGS) Pvt Ltd.
Payzippy is now availiable for the indian merchants for transactions.Indian merchants with payzippy can accept payments from all the debit & credit card holders.Support for netbanking transactions has not been added yet.American express and diners also have no support as yet.
Payzippy will join the current competing online payment industry which includes most of the widely used services like CCAvenue,Paytm,Citrus,Payu and many others.India has quite few payment gateways.Still they are evolving.With a large merchant like flipkart coming up with a payment gateway.Few good features that payzippy has are that it has added support for mobile and international payments.Another different thing about payzippy is that it aims to partner with banks directly and provides higher efficiency unlike the other payment gateways.

As far as pricing payzippy seems to have industry standard rates on credit cards as well as debit cards.Currently payzippy is having promotional pricing which may attract few merchants to use payzippy.

Payzippy provides charging,transaction status query and refund (including partial refunds) APIs for easy integration of their payment system on merchant sites.
Payzippy is bundled with all the features that a merchant expects from an online payment gatway.Settelment cycle of payzippy is of 2 days they offers an iframe which can be completely customized and integrated according to the look and feel of the merchants website.
According to flipkart they are working on a payment gateway for more than 2 years.Flipakart also claims to have done through research.Payzippy features like real time tracking system of bank gatewaysis quite similar to what ccavenue launched a few months back.
On the online customers point of view they can save their card details while using payzippy accounts to make payments on the merchant sites.Payzippy has requisite PCI DSS certification which allows them to save and store customers credit card details with them.
So with new payment service by flipkart indian merchants can start accepting payments from most of the major credit cards & debit cards including MasterCard, Visa, and Maestro.However support for netbanking transactions may be added in the future.
